NOTES:

Up until 1979 the date was not included on New York Yankees Grandstand & Bleacher tickets. Once you have figured out the year of your ticket using the Grandstand Ticket Stub Dating Guide, you will need to figure out the game that the ticket is attributed to. Correctly attributing the game number on a ticket to the game played will effect the value. A ticket stub will increase in value due to a significant event, or player milestone. A hitting or pitching milestone by a noted player such as a Home Run by Lou Gehrig or a shutout thrown by Lefty Gomez will have added value.

This New York Yankees Home Schedule is a list of home games to help attribute the number on a ticket to the game(s) played. In 1933 the Yankees were scheduled to play 154 games. 77 Road games, and 77 Home games.  NOTE: In 1933 the Yankees only played 75 home Games. Scheduled for Sept. 15, and 16, Games 68, and 69 vs Cleveland, were rained out and not made up. Scheduled for Sept. 9, Games 58 vs Philadelphia, was rained out and not made up. The Make Up added to Game 72, Sept. 19 was a game replayed at Yankee Stadium, from a game that was originally Scheduled and played to a Tie in Chicago on Aug. 21

Heading into the 1930's baseball saw a major decline in week-day afternoon single game attendance, due in part to the great depression, and high unemployment. To boost gate receipts Baseball offered two games for the price of one. What they did was remove a scheduled single week-day game and added it to a Sunday game earlier in the season. They called it a "Synthetic Double Header" (Synthetic Double Headers, were sometimes created due to stress on the schedule caused by excessive Rain outs)

NOTE: Game No. 28 scheduled for June 17, vs Boston was rescheduled, and added to Game No. 27 played on June 6, as a Synthetic Double Header. Game No. 66 scheduled for Sept. 13, vs Boston was rescheduled and added to Game No. 63 played on Sept. 10, as a Synthetic Double Header.

NOTE: Ticket Game No. E is believed to be attributed to the Holiday double header  played on July 4 (Game No. 29) The reported attendance for this double header was 77,365. Yankee Stadium seating capacity was 62,000, and the Game No. E ticket was used for the overflow. Further research is needed to confirm this.

Tickets for games that were rained out were voided. If the "Make Up Game" for the rain out was added to another scheduled game to create a double header, the ticket number of that scheduled game was used for admission to both games. NOTE: Ticket No. E is attributed to the Game No. 29 double header scheduled for July 4, 1933 vs Washington in order to satisfy the attendance overflow. The recorded attendance was 77,365, and the Yankee Stadium Seating capacity was 71,699.

If a rain out game was made up on an off day, the ticket issued for admission to that game featured a Letter for the Game No. For a scheduled double header, the first game number of the two was used on the ticket for admission to both games.
